This piece was done to help raise awareness of Ahmed Abu Ali's legal case. It is a
mix of photos from childhood up till the court's illustrations, videos of news footage,
community members, family & friends, and ends with a recitation by Ahmed.

Family History:
This is a stop motion piece done by 700+ cut outs, a white board, board markers,
and a D40 Nikon camera. The character in the film is my father and he is talking
about his Grandparents' hardships in Somalia and what it was like to live back then.
